Accomodation review: Alekos Studios, Skiathos

We paid for a package holiday so I’m not sure how much it is to book separately, but it’s quite basic accomodation so I imagine to book it separately wouldn’t be too expensive. It cost us £750 for the week and return flights and transfers. So not that cheap, but Skiathos is generally quite expensive. 

The hotel is made up of apartments, and they’re basic and a bit rough round the edges, but clean. And the owners treat you with a sweet, fruity treat and a shot of booze when you first arrive!

You also are able to use the pool at the Taxiarchis hotel next door, which is a bit nicer and also has a good, cheap bar that’s open until late.

Alekos is a bit tricky to find the first time, so if you stay here just head to Taxiarchis and ask the barman.
